My personal data that I have been collecting, I have been collected it
manually and also use
rescuetime website
to collect the time I spent on my screens. For the place I have been
visited, I use
mapBox to pin
the location onto the map with a pop up.
From the data I have collects based on the time I spent on my
homework, I found that during March I have spent a lot of time doing
homework for all of my classes because it's during midterm. Throughout
these 3 months of collecting the time, I have spent the time on Senior
Capstone class homework as well as Information Design class. For
Senior Capstone class, I have a lot of illustrations that I have to
draw. For Information Design, it's taking time researching, organize
the data, analyze it, and code. It's something that I rarely do in my
daily basis, but I have found a lot of interesting point from the
research I did.
Most of my time I spent on my phone/tablet most likely. I mainly use
my phone to check on my to do lists and for social, while using my
computer to work on my artwork and zoom, and use my tablet to work on
my illustrations. Throughout these 3 months, the total time I spent on
both devices are 791 hr 38 min.
This graph shows how many days I have met my productive goal. My goal
is to be productive and working for about 2 hrs every day. And in
February, I have been productive for 16 days. In March, I've been
productive for 27 days, and in April, for 21 days. I got this data
from rescuetime website, which it's surprising me that I have been
productive almost every day throughout the whole month.
I have pin places I have visited on the map above using mapBox
website. It's mostly a chilling places that you can visit with friends
and family. My experience of these places:
Niagara Falls:
I get to go on the boat to see the water falls upclose and it was
a really great experience for me. It's a beautiful views and I
would recommend you should try visit it as well, you will not
disappointed. There's also a park where you can walk along the
river and chill.
The Egg (Albany):
The egg is like a landmark in Albany where you should give a
visit. It's also like a park where you can walk around and take
photos. When I went there is about to sunset, which make the view
looks very pretty and very peaceful. I also love their
architecture design as well.
Croton Gorge Park:
This is park where you can sit and watch the waterfall under the
brigde. You can also hike up to the top, walk on the bridge and
see the view on the top. It's really beautiful and it's not a high
hiking. There are 2 more trails where you can hike along the river
and hike up to the top. But for me I just went on the bridge,
taking some photos and come back down and pick-in with my friends.
They also have provide tables, so you can just bring food, sit and
chill with your friends and family.
The Vessel:
I only get to walk and take picture outside of the Vessel, I wish
I went inside, but right now it's temporarily closed. Last time I
went to the Vessel was around Christmas and New Year, so they
decorate the place with lights and they also decorate the mall
across the Vessel as well. So, I recommend you should visit the
Vessel during the holiday season as well, it's really pretty.
Whitehall Terminal (South Ferry):
Whitehall Terminal is located in lower Manhattan, it's where you
can take a ferry to Staten Island. There is a park around there as
well. What I recommend is to take the ferry to watch sunset, it's
a beautiful view, which you can see the lower Manhanttan buildings
and also the Statue of Liberty. It was a great experience for me
and my first time taking it as well.
Roosevelt Island:
I have been to Roosevelt Island for a couple of time now. It's
very peaceful and I like to walk around. It's a nice chilling
place with a friends. It's also a great place to take some Cherry
Blossom photos during Spring. Also, you should visit Franklin D.
Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park, it's at the end of the island.
There's also a Tramway where you can take to Manhattan and watch
the view from the top. They also have Cafeteria, where you can sit
inside as well. So, it's a great place to chill with friends and
family.
